We're moving!

This weekend we are moving to Charleston, finally! I thought I would share a little bit about what life is like for Shaw in Augusta, GA.

After waking up, having some breakfast and driving to Wheeler Pines Preschool, Miss Verale greets Shaw every morning with a big smile and he smiles right back, he loves her! She is really quiet and gentle, which is nice since we arrive around 6:30 a.m.

For a big part of the day Shaw plays with his best friend Hannah. They get along well for the most part but they kind of have a love/hate relationship sometimes from what I hear.

Isn't she gorgeous? She and Shaw look a little bit alike sometimes I think, they both have these huge blue eyes and chubby little cheeks.

Shaw loves Miss Lynn to death! She is one of his teachers and she knows how to get his tickle spots, he just laughs and laughs. He seems pretty attached to her actually (and she to him) so it will be really sad to not see her everyday after the move.

Here is Shaw with another one of his teachers, Miss Katherine. She has the greatest personality, she talks to all the kids like they are adults, it is so funny. She works so hard but she is always in a great mood!

I love all of his teachers so much, I can't imagine what it will be like trusting someone else to take care of him like they do. They are the nicest people and each of them has some amazing quality that makes you just love them. When I take Shaw there everyday, he gets a huge smile on his face and he is always happy and playing when I get there to pick him up. It makes going to work and being away from him all day a little bit easier when I know that he is being taken care of so well. This is the only drawback of going to Charleston, I really wish that I could take them with us!

When we leave school, we head home for more fun!

There are lots of parks here so we try to get out and do some fun outdoor stuff on the weekends.Shaw loves Maggie! She isn't too sure about him most of the time since he is always grabbing her tail, screaming at her or disturbing her sleep with his crying. Now that he is crawling he also often tries to get to her food or play in her water dish and she really doesn't appreciate that!

All in all we have really enjoyed Augusta, its a great place to live especially if you have little ones. But, it will be really nice to be home! We'll post more once we get moved in and settled!
